Born and raised in France, Benoit managed to scoop up a French law degree
prior to studying Hotel Administration at Cornell University. Upon
graduation in 1975, he engaged in an eleven-year hotel management career
which took him to Chicago, New York, Washington DC, San Diego, Istanbul,
Jamaica and Hawaii. He held positions with Omni, Hyatt, Hilton
International, ITT Sheraton and Méridien, as well as Honululus unique
Halekulani, consistently rated as one of the worlds best. Benoit was
bit by the "headhunting" bug in 1986, and has not relented yet.
He founded "The Boutique Search firm" in February 1992. His
motto: small is beautiful. Benoit loves to mountain bike, cook and write
short (and long) stories.

Karen Jolley has been The Boutique Search Firms Director of European
Operations since 1996. She was first introduced to hotel management when
she was the Director of Project Marketing for what is now known as the
Hotel Inter-Continental Miami. Some eighteen years later, Karen finds
herself living in Lyon, heading European Operations for The Boutique
Search Firm. Her region stretches beyond Europe to Africa and the
Middle East. Patient and motherly, yet brutally honest, Karen is often
consulted by those in need of advice on a career move. To our knowledge,
none of those who sought her opinion ever regretted it. |
