THE AMERICAS

 

Hilton Worldwide has appointed Thomas Baltimore, Jr. as President and Chief Executive Officer of the planned real estate investment trust (REIT) that is expected to form later this year. Baltimore was most recently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of RLJ Lodging Trust. Current Senior Vice President and Treasurer, Sean Dell’Orto will serve with Baltimore as Chief Financial Officer.

Shawn Gracey has been named Executive Vice President Hospitality at Key International. He was most recently serving as Area Managing Director for Destination Hotels.

Jim Sichta has been appointed Vice President of Operations at Charlestowne Hotels in Charleston. He had previously been with Broughton Hotels for over thirteen years.

Cliff Atkinson is General Manager of the Mandarin Oriental Miami. He was most recently overseeing the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas. Atkinson is the former General Manager of the Mandarin Oriental San Francisco (now the Loews Regency), Gramercy Park Hotel, and the Chambers Hotel in Minneapolis.

Donald Bowman takes over from Cliff Atkinson as General Manager of the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas. Bowman had previously served at the property as Hotel Manager from 2008 to 2011. He is the former General Manager of PUBLIC Chicago, Carmel Valley Ranch and the Mandarin Oriental San Francisco.

The Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa has appointed Mark Piatkowski General Manager. For the past four years, he had been overseeing the Omni Mandalay in Irving, Texas.

Henri Birmele is now in Lake Tahoe as General Manager of the Landing Resort & Spa. He was most recently the General Manager of the Postcard Inn. Birmele is the former General Manager for the Hotel Shangri-La in Santa Monica and the Sheraton Universal.

The Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center has named Steven Ellingsen General Manager. He is the former General Manager of the Whitehall and the Mile North Hotel.

Kathleen Cochran has joined the Resort at Paws Up as Vice President Operations. She is the former General Manager of Bacara Resort & Spa and the Loews Coronado Bay Resort.

Caroline Dyal has been named Vice President of Operations for Pivot Hotels & Resorts. She was most recently the General Manager at The Hall. Dyal is the former General Manager of the Raleigh Hotel in Miami and Hotel Manager at the SLS South Beach.

Matt Shough has joined the Saguaro Palm Springs as General Manager. He was most recently the Hotel Manager at the Viceroy Santa Monica and the former Director of Rooms at the Mr. C Beverly Hills.

Coral Hospitality has promoted Christopher Schaeffer to President. Schaeffer has been with the company since 1999, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Business Development.

Lucy Martin has moved to the Park Central Hotel in Miami as General Manager. She was most recently the Hotel Manager at the 1 Hotel Miami Beach. Martin is the former General Manager of the Shore Club.

Barbara Lopez has joined Eaton Hotels as Vice President of Operations and Standards. She was most recently the Regional Vice President of Operations for SIXTY Hotels.

JP Oliver has been named Managing Director of the Confidante (the former Thompson Miami Beach) and Vice President of Lifestyle ­ Americas for Hyatt. Most recently, he served as Regional Vice President Southeast for the Morgans Hotel Group.

Brandon Lehmeyer has been appointed General Manager of the Spanish Garden Inn in Santa Barbara. He was most recently the Director of Operations for the Willows Lodge near Seattle.

Stan Kantowski has been named General Manager at the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in Riverside. He was most recently the General Manager at the Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs. Kantowski is the former General Manager of Miramonte Resort & Spa and the Resort at Squaw Creek.

The Hazelton Hotel, Toronto has appointed Hani Roustom General Manager. The Cornell graduate was most recently with the Shangri-La Hotel Toronto as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage. He had had previously served in food and beverage management positions with the Four Seasons Washington, D.C., the Four Seasons Toronto and the Four Seasons Yorkville.

Christophe Thomas has been named General Manager of the SLS Beverly Hills. Thomas was most recently overseeing the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. He is the former General Manager of the W New York Union Square and the Shoreham Hotel.

Alicia Luke has been named General Manager of the Hotel Shocard. She was most recently the General Manager of the Hotel 41 also located in Times Square.

Pedro Dias has been named General Manager at the Surrey in New York. He was most recently overseeing the Smyth Tribeca. Dias is the former General Manager at the W Hoboken and Hotel Manager at the St. Regis New York. At the Surrey, he takes over from Troy Pade.

Jonathan Crellin has joined the Boston Park Plaza Hotel as Managing Director. He was previously the Managing Director at the Boston Harbor Hotel before moving into the role of Asset Manager for the Pyramid Hotel Group and, most recently, a Principal with Whetstone Partners.

Gary Thomas is now with SBE in New York as Area General Manager. He was most recently overseeing the SLS at Beverly Hills. Thomas is the former Managing Director for the Line Hotel Los Angeles and General Manager at the Mondrian Soho.

Matt Greene has been named President at the JRK Hotel Group. He was most recently serving as Vice President of Operations for Evolution Hospitality and General Manager at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego.

Xavier Moulin has returned to SBE Hotels as Hotel Operations – Corporate. He had previously served as General Manager for the now defunct SLS LUX at Baha Mar after managing the SLS at Beverly Hills for two years. Moulin most recently had a short stint as General Manager at the CalNeva Resort in North Lake Tahoe.

Jacques D’Rovencourt has been promoted to General Manager at the Hilton Americas-Houston. D’Rovencourt moves up from his position as Hotel Manager to take over from Joe Palmieri who has retired after 28 years with Hilton Worldwide and eight years at the Hilton Americas-Houston. D’Rovencourt is the former Resident Manager at the Hilton Baltimore.

Michael Stephens has been appointed Managing Director at the Lansdowne Resort and Spa. Stephens was most recently managing the Grand Hyatt São Paulo.

Lance Herman has been appointed Chief Operating Officer at Star Hospitality Group in New York. Herman was most recently the Area Manager for citizenM.

Karen Hana has been appointed General Manager of the Alegria St. Maarten. Hana was most recently the Executive Director of the St. Maarten Hospitality & Trade Association and the former Hotel Manager at the Princess Port de Plaisance.

Celso David do Valle Neto has been appointed General Manager for the soon-to-open Oetker Collection’s Palacio Tangara in Sao Paulo. He is the former General Manager of the Hotel das Cataratas in Brazil’s Iguaçu National Park.

Pierre Louis Giacotto has been named General Manager of the Hotel Arista in Naperville. He is the former General Manager of the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago.

Tim Thuell has returned as General Manager to the Nisbet Plantation Beach Club. He had previously held this same position from 1990-1997. Thuell is the former Managing Director of the Coral Beach and Tennis Club in Bermuda and General Manager at Travaasa Austin.

Jack Olshan has been appointed General Manager at the Hotel Covington, scheduled to open in July. Olshan was most recently the Director of Operations for The Inn at Dos Brisas. He is also a former Director of Operations at the Greenbrier Resort & Spa.

Scott Spann has been appointed General Manager at Cliff House in Cape Neddick, Maine. He was previously the Area General Manager and General Manager at Skamania Lodge, another Destination Hotels’ property.

Robert Jenny has been promoted to Hotel Manager at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas. He was most recently overseeing food and beverage for the hotel. Jenny is the former Director of Operations at The Jefferson Hotel in Washington, D. C. and Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons St. Louis.

Mark Bingle has moved to the Four Seasons San Francisco as Hotel Manager. He was most recently in the same role at the Four Seasons Silicon Valley. Bingle had previously served as Resort Manager at the Four Seasons Carmelo.

James Dannecker is now in San Francisco as Hotel Manager at the Hotel Zephyr. He was most recently the General Manager for the Restoration Hotel in Charleston.

Victoria Shand is now in Vail as Resort Manager for the Sebastian. She had previously served as Assistant Rooms Executive at the Ritz-Carlton Naples and the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove.

Mindi Morin has joined the Fairmont Washington, D.C. as Director of Operations. She was most recently in the same position with the Fairmont Pittsburgh. Morin is the former Director of Rooms at the Fairmont San Francisco.

Gaudéric Harang has been appointed Director of Operations at Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu in Québec. He was most recently with the Swissôtel Resort Phuket as Director of Operations.

Stephen Power is now at the Loews Annapolis as Director of Operations. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Beverly Wilshire and the Ritz-Carlton Aruba.

Toby Scott-Long has been appointed Director of Operations at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson. He is the former Director of Rooms at the Westin Calgary.

Henry Rhoden has been named Director of Operations at the Hyatt at the Bellevue. He was most recently serving as Director of Rooms at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.

Kolhy Rodrigues has joined the Marriott Newport Coast Villas as Director of Operations. Rodrigues is the former Director of Rooms at the Westin Book Cadillac and Director of Front Office at the Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel.

Adela Gurriaran is now in Puerto Rico as Executive Assistant Manager Rooms for the Ritz-Carlton San Juan. She was most recently serving as Director of Rooms at the Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

Kenneth Fuller has returned to LaSalle Hotel Properties as Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Bruce Riggins, who has left the company. The Cornell graduate had previously served in various finance roles for LaSalle, most recently as Treasurer. Fuller is the former Founder, Owner and Principal of Vine Investment Partners.

Richard Jones has been appointed Chief Financial Officer at Elegant Hotels Group. He is the former Finance Chief of Cineworld.

Ken Barrett has been appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at White Lodging Services. Most recently, Barrett was Senior Vice President of Asset Management for Strategic Hotels.

Antoine Blanc has been appointed Chief Financial Officer for North America, Central America and the Caribbean, at AccorHotels. Blanc most recently served as the Accor’s Chief Financial Officer for Mexico.

William Cygnor has been named Regional Director of Finance for Luxe Hotels. He was most recently serving as Director of Finance at the Quail Lodge and Golf Club. Cygnor is the former Director of Finance of the Fairmont Chicago, Acqualina and the Royal Palm Hotel Miami Beach.

Bruce Reichenbacher has been appointed Director of Finance at Shore Hotel in Santa Monica. Reichenbacher was most recently the Assistant General Manager and Director of Finance at the Luxe City Center Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. He is the former Controller at the Shorebreak Hotel, the Hotel Palomar in San Francisco and the Wilshire Grand Hotel.

Jay Coldren has joined Dean & Deluca as Chief Development Officer. He was most recently serving as Vice President, Global Brand Leader for EDITION Hotels.

The Resort at Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas has promoted Yvan Mucharraz to Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently serving as Executive Chef after joining the resort in 2012 as Chef de Cuisine.

The Hyatt Times Square New York has moved Nicholas Pelliccione into the role of Director of Food and Beverage Operations. He was most recently serving the hotel as Executive Chef.

Paul Carter has joined La Quinta Resort & Club as Director of Food and Beverage. For the past three years, he had been in the same post at the Beverly Hilton.

Adam Sternberg has been named Vice President, Food and Beverage Analytics, for MGM Resorts International. He is the former Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Avero.

Julian Griffiths has moved to the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas as Vice President of Food and Beverage. He was most recently in a similar role at the Mirage. Griffiths had previously overseen food and beverage at the Wynn Las Vegas and the New York Palace Hotel.

Leonardo Marcos has moved as Director of Food and Beverage to the Boston Park Plaza Hotel. He was most recently in the same role for the Battery Wharf Hotel. Marcos is the former Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills and Banquet Manager with the Four Seasons San Francisco.

The Madeline Hotel and Residences in Telluride has appointed Robert Rhea Director of Food and Beverage, taking over from Flynt Payne. Rhea was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the Hilton Cabana Miami Beach.

Sean Bradshaw has been named Corporate Director of Food and Beverage at Salt Hotels. He is the former Director of Operations at the Lansdowne Resort. Bradshaw had previously overseen food and beverage at the W Washington, D.C. and the W Austin.

Andrew Molen has been named Director of Food and Beverage at Topping Rose House in the Hamptons. Molen was most recently the Director of Operations for MXDC by Chef Todd English.

Jun Chun has been named Senior Designer at Champalimaud. Chun is the former Design Director at the Gettys Group and Senior Project Designer for the Gooch Design Studio.

Bob Ducy has been appointed Director of Engineering at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa. Ducy had previously served as Director of Engineering at the Fairmont Orchid Hawaii and the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess.

Thomas Botts has been appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at the Miraval Group in Tucson. Botts had previously served Denihan Hospitality Group as Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer.

Tran Lao has moved to the Four Seasons Silicon Valley and been promoted to Director of Human Resources. She was most recently the Assistant Director of Human Resources at the Four Seasons San Francisco.

Hilary Tolman has joined Millennium Hotels & Resorts in Los Angeles as Vice President Talent and Culture, Americas. She is the former Creative Director at the Tolman Collection and Vice President – US Operations for Gordon Ramsay Holdings.

Valery Welton has been appointed Director of Human Resources at the Hotel Contessa in San Antonio. Welton was previously the Director of Human Resources for the Wynfrey Hotel in Birmingham and served in human resources roles with Viking Ocean Cruises and Royal Caribbean.

Peter Jon Lindberg has been appointed Director of Inspiration at Conrad Hotels & Resorts. He is the former Executive Editor at Condé Nast Traveler and Editor at Large for both Travel + Leisure and Saveur magazines.

Alie Gaffan has been promoted to Vice President People and Culture at Pacifica Hotels in Santa Barbara. She has been with the company for over twenty years, most recently as Corporate Director of Training and Development.

George Fleck has joined Loews Hotels & Resorts as Senior Vice President Brands and Marketing. He was most recently serving as Vice President, Global Brand Management, for Le Meridien & Westin for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Samantha Steckbeck has returned to Oberoi Hotels & Resorts in her former position of Vice President Leisure Sales, The Americas. She had most recently been with Seaside Luxe in Santa Monica as Vice President Business Development.

Tamara DeMars has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at The Bardessono in Yountville, taking over for Kini Sanborn. DeMars was most recently the Director of West Coast Corporate Sales for the Silverado Resort and Spa and the former Director of Sales and Marketing at San Ysidro Ranch.

John Cardona is the new Director of Sales and Marketing for the Seafire Resort & Spa in Grand Cayman. He is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for the Trump Ocean Club Panama.

Mario Busquets has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Knickerbocker in New York. He is the former City Director of Sales for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, and Director of Sales and Marketing for the W New York. At the “Knick”, he succeeds Gemma Keating, now the Corporate Director of Sales for the Gansevoort Hotel Group.

Lisa Bush has moved as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Thompson Nashville, slated to open later this year. For the past eight years, she had served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hutton Hotel in Nashville.

Amy Delegal-Fox has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hotel Zelos in San Francisco. She was most recently Area Director of Sales and Marketing for Evolution Hospitality.

Marina Colunga has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the Mahekal Beach Resort. She was most recently serving as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Paradisus Resorts and the Reserve Resorts at Dominican Republic for Melia Hotels.

Julie Tainter has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa. Most recently, Tainter served as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa.

Jodi Graham has been appointed Senior Sales Manager at Miramonte in Indian Wells. She was most recently the Senior Sales Manager at the Saguaro in Palm Springs and the former Director of Sales for the Ace Hotel and Swim Club in Palm Springs.

Stacey Levasseur is now in Northern California as Director of Catering and Conference Services at Rosewood Sand Hill. She had previously served in similar roles for the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina, Shutters on the Beach and Casa Del Mar.

Ana Hernandez has been appointed Director of Catering at the Nobu Hotel Eden Roc. Hernandez is the former Senior Catering Sales Manager of the Conrad Miami.

Andrea Larkin has been named Director of Revenue Management at Shutters on the Beach and Casa Del Mar. She was most recently the Corporate Director of Revenue Management at Proper Hospitality.

Gustavo Pinet has been appointed Executive Chef at the Resort at Pedregal, taking over from Yvan Mucharraz. He was most recently the Executive Sous Chef at Las Ventanas al Paraiso.

Rodrigo Torres is now in Puerto Rico as Executive Chef of the Ritz-Carlton San Juan. He was most recently in the same role for the Ritz-Carlton Santiago.

The Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island has named Charles Pejeau Executive Chef. Most recently, Pejeau held the positions of Executive Chef at Charbar Co. and Holy Tequila on Hilton Head Island.

Ron Kneabone has been appointed Executive Chef at the Algonquin Resort in St. Andrews by-the-Sea. Most recently, Kneabone was the Executive Chef/Food and Beverage Director at the Marriott Fallsview in Niagara Falls.

Armando Galeas has been named Executive Chef for the Costa d’Este Beach Resort & Spa in Vero Beach. He is the former Chef de Cuisine for Temple Orange at the Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa.

Sam Bolsover has been named Executive Chef of the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa in Vancouver. He was most recently Head Chef at Seaham Hall.

Montpelier Plantation & Beach has named Cristian Bassi Executive Chef. He was most recently the Executive Sous Chef at the Makadi Spa Hotel in Egypt.

David Vilchez has joined Cafe Del Rey in Marina Del Rey as Executive Chef. He is the former Executive Sous Chef at the Napa Valley Grille and BOA Steakhouse.

The Calgary Marriott Downtown has named David Spero Executive Chef. Most recently, he was Executive Sous Chef at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes Orlando.

Jorge Gonzalez has been appointed Chef de Cuisine at the Highland Dallas. He had previously served as Sous Chef at Fearing’s Restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton Dallas for more than eight years and had assisted in opening Tom Colicchio’s Craft at the W Dallas.

Eric Cobb has been appointed Executive Pastry Chef at the Highland Dallas. He had previously been with the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas as Pasty Chef for more than seven years

Matthew Koons has joined the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Pennsylvania as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently serving as Director of Restaurants at Sea Island.

Eric Segreti has been named Director of Rooms at the Setai Miami Beach. He had previously served as Front Office Manager at the Mandarin Oriental New York.

David Cirincione has moved to the Hilton Times Square as Director of Rooms. He was most recently serving as Executive Housekeeper for the Waldorf=Astoria. Cirincione had previously served in housekeeping posts with the JW Marriott Chicago and the Langham Place, Fifth Avenue.

Jason De Vries has joined the Ritz-Carlton Washington, D.C. as Assistant Rooms Executive. He is the former Assistant Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills and Director of Guest Services at the Four Seasons Boston.

 

EUROPE

 

Markus Semer has been moved up to Chief Executive Officer at Kempinski Hotels in Geneva. He was most recently serving as Deputy to the former CEO, Alejandro Bernabé. Semer is the former Senior Vice President Corporate Affairs and Strategic Planning for Kempinski Hotels.

Stephen Alden has been appointed to the newly created role of Chief Executive of the Set Hotel Group. He was previously in a similar role with the Maybourne Hotel Group before it was acquired by Qatar Holdings’ Constellation Hotels in 2015. Before his role with Maybourne, Alden was based in New York as Senior Vice President of the St. Regis and Luxury Collection brands for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Sal Gowili has been promoted to General Manager at the Ritz London replacing Stephen Boxall who left the hotel in February 2015. Gowili joined the hotel in 2011 as Front of House Manager and was promoted to Hotel Manager in 2013.

Davide Bertilaccio is now in Italy as Managing Director for Rosewood’s Castiglion del Bosco. He was most recently serving as Area General Manager for Fairmont Raffles Hotels & Resorts while overseeing the Fairmont The Norfolk in Nairobi as General Manager. Bertilaccio is the former General Manager of the Mövenpick Hotel Casablanca and the Mövenpick Hotel Gammarth in Tunisia.

Julia Ward has rejoined Regent Hotels and Resorts as General Manager at the Regent Porto Montenegro. She was previously the opening Executive Assistant Manager at the Regent Bali and most recently held the position of General Manager of Luxury Villas and Homes Thailand.

Globy Ouseph has been appointed General Manager at the Sofitel London Gatwick, taking over from James Berry. Ouseph was most recently the Hotel Manager at the Sofitel London Heathrow.

Eva Leigh has been appointed Hotel Manager at the Cavendish London. She had previously held the position of Room Division Manager at Kensington Close.

Julie Cayrel has been appointed Hotel Manager at the Hôtel de L’Arcade in Paris. She was previously with Ascott Limited as Assistant Residence Manager for three years.

The Four Seasons Moscow has named David Gevorkyan Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently with the Ginza Project Group as Director, Hotel Department.

Hanno Barkhoff is now in Munich as Director of Food and Beverage at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Shangri-La Tokyo and Shangri-La’s Villingili Resort & Spa Maldives.

Mark Veale has been named Brand Manager at kitchen equipment supplier Nisbets. He was most recently serving as Head Chef at Thornbury Castle near Bristol.

Kevin Underwood has been appointed Principal and Head of Master Planning and Design at HKS Inc. in London. Underwood was the Principal in charge of Hospitality at Edaw before Aecom acquired it, and then he was the Global Leader of Leisure and Culture at Aecom.

Stéphane Trycionka has joined the Corinthia Hotel London as Director of Sales and Marketing. Trycionka had previously overseen sales and marketing for the Hôtel Métropole Monte Carlo and the Hôtel Fouquet’s Barrière in Paris.

Alison Craig has been appointed Groups and Events Manager at the Metropolitan by COMO London. She was most recently serving as Director of Conferences and Events at the (former) Four Seasons Canary Wharf after spending 11 years with the company.

Simon Rouget is the new Executive Chef at Le Chateau Périgny. He had previously served in the same role at Le Café Scott in St. Nazaire.

Alan O’Kane has been appointed Head Chef at the Black Swan Hotel in North Yorkshire, replacing Patrick Bardoulet. O’Kane had spent the past 18 months as Executive Chef at the Surrey Hotel and Resort, Foxhills.

Stuart Shaw has been appointed Head Chef at Thornbury Castle, taking over from Mark Veale. He was previously serving as Head Chef at the Manor House, Castle Combe, before taking on a brief stint at the Hare & Hounds in Tetbury.

Ian Swainson has been appointed Head Chef at The Pass, South Lodge, in Bagshot, taking over from Matt Gillan. Swainson was most recently at the Samling in Cumbria.

Ross Stovold has been appointed Head Chef at Seaham Hall taking over from Sam Bolsover. Stovold was most recently in a similar role at the Isle of Eriska Hotel in Argyll.

David Emig takes over from Thomas Carreras as Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons London at Park Lane. Emig was most recently in the same position at the Four Seasons Maldives at Kuda Huraa. He is the former Front Office Manager of the Four Seasons Singapore and Director of Residences at the Four Seasons Shanghai.

Lim Boon Kwee has been appointed Chief Operating Officer at Dusit International in Bangkok. He was most recently serving the company as President of the Dusit Fudu Hotel Management Company.

Paul Archer has been appointed Regional General Manager – North Island, New Zealand at AccorHotels. He is the former General Manager for the Novotel Auckland Ellerslie/Ibis Auckland Ellerslie and the Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre in India.                                  

Jonas Schuermann has left the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group to take up the post of Managing Director Hospitality Services at Sociedade de Jogos de Macau. He had previously spent 22 years with Mandarin Oriental, most recently as General Manager at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong.

Anton Birnbaum has been appointed General Manager of the W Retreat & Spa ­ Maldives. For the past eight years, he had served as Executive Assistant Manager at Le Méridien Vienna.

Mark Wouters has been named General Manager at the PuXuan Hotel and Spa in Beijing. He was most recently the Resident Manager at the Niccolo Chengdu. Wouters is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Mandarin Oriental Jakarta.

Scott Hamilton has been promoted to Resident Manager at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. He joined the resort in 2014 as Director of Food and Beverage. Hamilton is a former Vice President of Joint Venture Operations for BR Guest Hospitality.

Michael Grimmer has been appointed Hotel Manager of the Vana Belle Resort and the Sheraton Samui Resort. He was most recently serving as Director of Food and Beverages at Le Méridien Xiamen.

Nicholas Wong has been promoted to Director of Food and Beverage and joined the Ritz-Carlton Guangzhou. He was most recently the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore.

Alessandro Cartumini is the new Director of Food and Beverage of the Four Seasons Hualalai, taking over from Angelica Palladino. Cartumini had previously served as Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Biltmore Santa Barbara for six years.

Budi Widodo has moved as Director of Food and Beverage to the Four Seasons Shanghai at Puxi. He was most recently serving in the same position at the Four Seasons Maldives at Kudda Hura.

Aditya Ramani has joined the Four Seasons Maldives at Kudda Hura as Director of Food and Beverage, taking over from Budi Widodo. Ramani had been serving as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at sister property, the Four Seasons Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru.

Sébastien Ganry has joined the Four Seasons Oahu as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously been overseeing HKK by Hakkasan and Hakkasan Mayfair in London.

Michael Sagild has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the BLINK Design Group in Bangkok. He is the former Managing Director, Asia Pacific Development, for MGM Hospitality, Chief Executive Officer of the Stein Group International, and Chief Operating Officer with Minor Hotels and Resorts.

Jeffery Smith has been appointed Director of Sustainability at Six Senses Hotels, Resorts and Spas in Bangkok. He was most recently with Canadian company Solar Brokers.

Richard Lee has been appointed Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage, Chef at Six Senses Zil Pasyon. He has been with the company since 2008, most recently as Executive Chef at Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman for two years after transferring from Six Senses Con Dao.

Jon Conching has been appointed Director of Sales, Marketing and Events at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa. Conching was most recently serving as Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Hawaii region at Hilton Worldwide.

Edgar Kano has been named Executive Chef of Four Seasons Bora Bora. The CIA graduate was most recently in the same post with the Four Seasons Mexico City. Kano is the former Executive Sous Chef at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas.

Jackson Wu has been promoted to Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Beijing. He had joined the hotel in 2012 as Executive Sous Chef.

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has appointed Todd Hewitt Corporate Director of Spa based in Hong Kong. Hewitt was most recently a Regional Spa Director at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.

Peter Katusak-Huzsvar has been appointed General Manager of the W Dubai ­ Al Habtoor City. He is the former Director of Operations for the W Doha Hotel and Residences, and General Manager at the W St. Petersburg and the W Guangzhou.

Christoph Schleissing has been appointed General Manager of the Millennium Resort Mussanah in Muscat. He had previously overseen the Hilton Luxor Resort and Spa.

Lizzie Lee has been appointed Executive Assistant Manager Rooms of the Six Senses Zil Pasyon in the Seychelles. She was previously in the same role at the Six Senses Con Dao and the Six Senses Zighy Bay.

Asif Raza has joined the Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek as Executive Assistant Manager. Raza was most recently the same role at the Hyatt Regency Riyadh-Olaya.

Julien Munoz has been appointed Vice President Sales and Revenue Management at Dubai Parks and Resorts. For the past 13 years, he had been with Disneyland Paris, most recently as Director Marketing and Sales France.

Ramzi Fikani has been appointed Director of Sales of the Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh. Most recently, he held the position of Cluster Director of Marketing for the Constellation Hospitality Group in Morocco.

Philippe Renaud has been appointed Director of Sales of the Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa in Muscat. He is the former Senior Sales Manager at the Shangri-La Vancouver.

Sanjay Nambiar has been appointed Director of Sales at the Hyatt Place Dubai. He was most recently in the same role at the Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights.

Mohamed Elsherif has been promoted to Executive Chef at the Fairmont Nile City, Cairo. He joined the hotel in 2009 as Sous Chef.

Rajiv Ranjan has been appointed Executive Chef at the Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach in Dubai. He was most recently in the same role at the Mövenpick Hotel & Apartments Bur Dubai.

The Kempinski Gold Coast Accra has appointed Simon Hague Executive Chef. He was most recently at the Eko Hotel and Convention Center as Executive Chef.
