• Leisure and hospitality added 78,000 jobs in September as all sectors showed strength and gains were led by restaurants
• Employment in food services and drinking places rose by 69,000 over the month.
• Accommodation employment continued to trend up over the month as 7,000 jobs were gained.

•  Phil Pavel has been appointed as Managing Director at The Georgian. His new role follows the restoration and re-opening of the 84-key property in April 2023 by BLVD Hospitality.

• Marc Blackford has been appointed as General Manager at Hotel Clio, a Luxury Collection Hotel. He leads a team managing nearly 200 guest rooms, 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and Toro, a renowned Pan-Latin restaurant by Chef Richard Sandoval. 
• Derek Stutz named General Manager at Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa. He takes charge of overseeing all operational facets of the wine country destination directing resort, winery and microbrewery operations.
